The house is arranged over two floors - there is an open plan living room, kitchen & dining area and a master bedroom & balcony with gorgeous views of the lake, plus an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. There is also a downstairs cloakroom toilet. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms; three with double beds and the fourth one has an large single bed suitable for one adult or 2 children. There is also a bathroom upstairs fitted with a large shower. The interior has been furnished in a very comfortable & contemporary style. The kitchen is fully-fitted with an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle & toaster. In the lounge area, the entertainment includes a Wide Flat screen TV & DVD player. There is also a lovely stone built fireplace which you can use. Enjoy a real log fire in the stunning wooded hills above Lake Como. All of the bedrooms enjoy the magnificent views of the central lake area and the Alps to the north. Outside, there is a large open terrace with a unique, stone dining table from where you can all enjoy Italian 'al fresco' dining. There is an spacious parking space fronting the house available for the guests. Pianello del Lario is a charming little village on lake Como at 46km from town Como on the north-western shore. It has a long-sandy-gravel beach called Laguna Beach. In Pianello village, every ammenity is at your disposal - a local bakery, supermarket, cafes and restaurants provide a true taste of the relaxed Italian lifestyle while for the adventurous amongst you, there is hiking, watersports, golf and skiing, all easily accessible in the surrounding areas. Whether your holiday plans are for simply relaxing or reading a book with a cappucino on the terrace; perhaps walking in the Italian Alps with all that fresh alpine air; alternatively, you're adventure plans may see you windsurfing, boating or fishing on this truly spectacular lake and then of course, there is skiing at the world famous St. Moritz or at Madesimo, a charming ski resort just 60km away (1hr 15 mins) - then Villa Rustico is the place for you. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Italy's oldest golf course, established in 1907 with 18 holes Par 70, is located above Menaggio near Croce, in Grandola ed Uniti, approx. 20 min. by car. Tel: +39 344 321 03. Green Fees: Weekdays EU 55, Weekends and Holidays EU 70 Euros; Golf Cart Rental EU 36. Restaurant Golf at the club serves fantastic food and is well recommended. The closest major ski resort is Madesimo toward the Splugen Pass, which is approx. 1 hr 20 min. by car. St. Moritz in Switzerland is only 90 km by car. Other ski resorts are located in the Valtellina near Morbegno. The lake is beautiful to relax next to all year long - the scenery in the winter is some of the most striking, as the air is crisp, the visibility near perfect and the mountains capped in white snow. | |||||||||||||||||||||
